Subform in Datasheet view missing scrollbar

L

Larry Jones

I have a subform, that is viewed as a datasheet (per user request) that is
missing it's horizontal scrollbar.

I have both scrollbars turned on, on the subform, in the properties.

I do get the vertical one and it works fine. But since there are more
columns than will show on a single screen, I currently have to tab to the
next column to get the data to show on the screen, since there is no
horizontal scrollbar.

Anyone know what I've done wrong or need to do to get this bar to appear?

TIA,
Larry

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Thanks for trying Brendan, but that's not it.

I guess I should have mentioned I am using Access XP, sorry about that.

The subform control is 6" wide and the underlying form is 5". Neither of
which seems to matter really since the subform is set to display in
Datasheet view. No matter what I do to the subform (make it very little or
full size) it always displays the datasheet the right size, but without the
horizontal scroll bar.

Sorry Larry, I don't have any other ideas. Anyone else?

Thought I would post this again to see if anyone else might have some ideas.
