How do I get that the Subdatasheet can never expand? The
users start out in a datasheet view and then switch to
form after they locate the record (they like it this way
and do not want to change. How can I turn off the
Subdatasheet from Expanding?

trying desperately to not comment on the fact that you let your users
ANYWHERE near the tables (you can always display forms in datasheet view
too, you know

but to turn the subdatasheets off
be in datasheet view of the table and choose
Format / Subdatasheet / REMOVE

OK I did that and it worked, but then there is no option
if I ever want to get that option back. Do you know how
to do that?

Yes - you are right about not letting users near the
tables, but I have only been employed here a few weeks. I
voiced my concern, but I have not been here long enough
to have any pull in doing anything about it.

to turn it back on - choose Insert / Subdatasheet and choose the "related"
table
