Sub Zones created by DC are missing - Ones with leading _

I have just installed a new win2K Adv Server DC - (this is
the 3rd attempt) - I installed SP4 and all updates and
then installed DNS - when I choose the active directory
integrated option - it does not make the sub zones that I
am used to seeing on a DC.

I have done the net stop netlogon and net start netlogon
but these subzones never re-appear.

Now I have installed MS Exchange 2000 and it is having
trouble finding the Domain Controller - while the
installation was successful - it will Exchange will not
come up at all - and when I browse for the DC is can not
find them so I am assuming that the two are related

Thanks

What sub zones are you referring to? Are they child zones? If child domains,
the child DCs need to be using this DNS server.

Or are you referring to the SRV records?
