Does FrontPage allow you to create a subweb with the same name of a folder?

Ex:
www.domain.ca/test/ <- folder

Can I create a subweb called test in the same domain?

It looks like it is possible, but the sub-web seems to take over
everything in the folder...

Not if the folder and subweb are at the same level in the web.
You can have test inside of test, but not beside test

you could have test/test/test - this would confuse the heck outta me, but you could do it.

but you couldnt have www.domain.ca/test and another www.domain.ca/test too

well, that is what I thought too however, I just used windows explorer
to create a folder /test and then fired up FrontPage and created a new
sub site called /test and it automatically converted my folder to a sub web.

And that subweb may give you problems if FP did not convert the Folder test into a subweb test (which is what I suspect it did,
since Windows OS does not allow two folders w/ same name)

When you manipulate files / folders outside of FP in a FP Web/Site, FP and the FP meta files do not know anything has changed,
- Until you run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks in FP
(rereads all files/folder for changes and regenerates meta data)
