styles in left margin

How do I set up the page in Word 2007 to view the styles in the left-hand
margin?

Look under Microsoft Office button (pizza) at top left, Word Options.
and look for the "Style Area" option if this name has not been changed for
2007.

specify the desired with of the style area at "Style area pane width in
Draft and Outline views."
