Styles & formatting problem

Hi

I am using styles and formatting to create a new template in WRD2003. I want
to indent the first line of a double-spaced paragraph but have the other
lines in the paragraph aligned fully to the left. When I hit the return key
for the next and subsequent paragraphs, I want the first lines indented and
the rest left aligned etc.

I've chosen the 'special' option under paragraphs in styles and formatting
and indented the first line by 1.27 cm. Is there anything else I need to do
because at the moment ALLthe lines are indenting, which is not what I want?
Can anyone help?

Make sure you *do not* have a check in the box for Left. You want to apply
only a First Line indent. Also, keep in mind that if the para has only 1
line when you press Enter you are creating a new paragraph which will have
the first line indented the same way. Paras that wrap to more than 1 line
should be aligned at the left margin.
