Style XP and my screen's fuzziness

I don't know if some of you are into making your
computers more fun and more efficient, but I'm the
biggest one of em all that tries to do lots with mine...
I've been there done that with a bunch of stuff, but..
now I have a problem. Have any of you used Style XP and
suddenly your screen has gotten blurrier/fuzzier and
harder to read? I've done EVERYTHING to change it..
configured clear-type, updated the drivers to my monitor
(which is NOT the problem because on startup and while I
play a computer game, the resolution is perfect and
crisp), changed resolution, increased/decreased font
sizes, played with the settings for contrast and
brightness and degaussed my monitor to the HILT!!!! I
cannot figure out WHY it seems to want to be blurry, but
it became noticeable after Style XP started changing
things, but uninstalling it didn't make it go away.. I
have to wonder if I just never noticed it til I started
changing it drastically and now it bugs me BIGTIME.
Anyone got any ideas??? I've contacted Style XP and they
can't seem to figure it out either... any input would be
appreciated, thank you.

Coincidence? I would hazard a guess that your monitor, its cable or your
video card is shot & needs to be swapped to find which one is the cause.
I had an ATI Expert@work that packed up completely unless it was run in
VGA mode, so just because you get expected results at lower resolutions,
doesn't eliminate either the monitor or card altogether. I run StyleXP &
have not had issues of lost resolution.

All Style XP does is patches Windows so that it can use themes which have
not been digitally signed by Microsoft. It has nothing at all to do with
the display of the themes themselves. It sounds more like your video card
may be a little flakey. Do you get this blurring issue at lower resolutions
in Windows, not just games? Might be an idea to try & borrow another video
card to see if that's what could be causing it, but it cannot possibly be
StyleXP...
