style formatting goes with Word 2002 document when sent via email

I want to send a Word 2002 document to a friend as an email
attachment.

The document has a bunch of styles that center text, capitalize and do
other stuff.

If my friend opens the document on her computer in Word, will all my
style formatting have gone over so that the document will look the
same?
