Stupid mistake

This is probally an extremley stupid question but i changed the startup
options to hide the menus and such but now i want them back - how do i
get them back

Hi, Brant.

To bypass the startup settings (as long as someone hasn't removed this
option and implemented user-level security properly ), press the <SHIFT> key
and then open the database -- and continue holding the <SHIFT> key until the
database is completely open.

no how do i get the tools menu back where i can go to switchboard
manager and such
