Stupid IE7 question: Removing unneeded address/search bar?

I have never used, and do not need, constant display of the address and/or
search bar in IE7 (or IE6). In fact, I don't need/want that top bar in
entirety. It does absolutely nothing to help me, but I cannot find where to
turn it off. Might someone direct me? (Duh. I miss be looking right at the
option, wherever it is.)

And, my first impression of IE7? To be perfectly honest, I am seriously
wondering why Microsoft didn't simply buy out Maxthon and its developer,
Bloodchen? From what I have seen over the first day of use, an entire team of
highly-paid Microsoft people is still light-years behind only one lone guy
who created -- and continues to refine -- Maxthon. Honestly, and I do mean
this as positive feedback/criticism that I hope makes it into a *21st century
browser* from Microsoft, I expected at least something halfway close to
Maxthon's ability to be almost totally personalized/customized, and with just
half the nifty options even. For example, after seeing super drag and drop in
Maxthon, how could Microsoft have left it out of of IE7 -- even in an alpha
version? I also expected something *a lot* more intuitive. IE7 is *NOT*
intuitive.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

I am working on this issue. Expect a solution soon which will be available
