Stuck with *.exe's

Yes, they are all literally stuck on my computer! ANY exe
file on my computer that I try to rename, move, or delete
give me the old "this file is being used by another
person or program" message. It started off with an old
game I had on my computer. I went to delete it from my
desktop and I got the error. I restarted my computewr
multiple times with no luck. So, I went around my
computer trying to delete any old throw-away .exe file I
could find and I got the same problem. I found that any
other kind of file was perfectly OK though. This is
getting to really scare me, so please help!

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
