stuck on boot screen

I have a copy of Vista business that i got through my school. After trying
several times, i finally got vista to install. But now it won't boot, it
just stays on the loading screen. Ive been searching for a few days now and
nothing seems to help. I do have a SATA hard drive so i guess theres been
some problems. The only solution that I've found posted is to load the
drivers and to rename the pcmmia files through the repair console. Both of
these suggestions did not work. Its still stuck on the loading screen. any
suggestions would be greatly apprecciated. thanks

Just a quick question, do you have another drive in your machine? If so, is
it an IDE?

Try safe mode and see if it loads. If you got thru the install and get to
the boot screen, your SATA drivers are fine.
