Stuck in US Regional Settings

I can not reset my US Regional and Language Settings in Control
Panel!
I switch to English (AU), press OK, then reopen RLS and it reverts
back to US in my account.

I have full administrative rights; and when a collegue logs into
another admin account on my machine, it remains in the AU setting.

And I can not customise the US setting, because it will not accept
the
d/m/yyyy convention.

Your help is appreciated.

Try resetting the Regional and Language Settings in the Windows Registry.

Start\Run\type: "regedit" (no quotes) and browse to the following keys and
make your changes in the right panel.

Change regional settings to the personal user account settings:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International..

Change regional settings to user accounts
HKEY_USERS\S-#-#-##\Control Panel\International

Change regional settings to the default user settings:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International

Sorted it myself! With you pointing me in the right direction, of
course.

The Registry Key HK Current User/Control Panel/International did not
exist.

I created it; and when I changed my settings, it populated, the
settings stuck, and all is sweet and lovely with the world now.
