stuck email in outbox

I have an email that has been stuck for a week in my outbox. It has a 6MB
attachment that is holding it up. I cannot get rid of the email because it
is saying it has already started transmitting the message. Is there any
other way to kill it?
 
If you have 2003 then click File > work offline, close and reopen outlook,
delete the message, then make sure you switch back to working "online."
