Ststic IP, Gateway, DNS server information disappeared.

Hi:
My acer laptop using VIsta, I try to setup the wireless adapter with
static IP, Gateway, DNS server information menualy. It was working
after I made the change. But after I restart the laptop, all input
information just gone, and the setup for TCP/IP v4 change back to
Obtain automatically. So for I only enabled TCP/IP v4 service ndnder
conection property. Does anybody have any idea? Maybe I should swith
back to XP, Vista gave me too much troubles.

We had a post similar like this (posted below). you may need to re-configure
the TCP/IP settings. Please post back with the result.

Actually I saw that post before I post this. I tried so many ways,
