Hi all.
I am posting for a friend who has the named games ,but is having problems
with them closing to the desktop.he can't even start to play them ....he
clicks the exe. the games go to start and then boot him back to his desktop.
I believe he has this current set up:
msi mobo
AMD xp 200
Geforce 4 ti 4200
512 ddr pc2700

He tells me he has run DIRECTX diag and all seems to be ok .
Any suggestions would be welcome

Is he in a Limited account? Users will have problems running games if they
are. Might check this:

knowing what drivers he's running, I would suggest checking those. In some
situations (graphics and sound mainly) the original drivers in Windows XP
are only "mini" versions and don't have all the capabilities to run the
current games. Have him check in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event
Viewer to see if there are any notations of errors (yellow triangles with
exclamation points, or red circles with white X's). Those can be
right-clicked, Properties selected and viewed for a portion of the error
message.
