strikeouts instead of balloons

is there any way when comparing documents to show
deletions as strikeouts instead of balloons and then to
print the document again with strikeouts instead of
balloons?

Hi Jeff,

menu Tools > Options;
Select the Track Changes tab;
Uncheck "Use balloons in Print Layout and Web view" (or something like that,
I do not have my Word XP version available just now...);
Click OK.

Jeff,

Under "tools" "options" for track changes uncheck the
bubble option. That should give you just the strikeouts
