Stretching Gradient Background

You can make the gradient in a program like Paint Shop Pro
or Photoshop, change the width to a couple of pixels wide.
Make the gradient as long as you think your pages will be
(or use a copy of the same gradient flipped upside down
underneath)
Insert image, save. Then make it the background for a
table

Hi, I created a gradient background, and then imported it
into FrontPage. The problem is this: The gradient is red-
yellow, but it doesn't stretch but instead tiles itself.
So I have an abrupt change from yellow to red where the
picture ends. How do I make the gradient stretch itself,
so that no matter how wide one's screen is, the entire
gradient--but not more than one--is displayed? Thanks

Try this in a cell <tr><TD id=msviRegionGradient1
style="FILTER: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient(startColorStr='#FF6600', endColorStr='#FFFFFF', gradientType='1')

Put this right under youe table or cell/Just change the FF6600 and FFFFFF to whatever you want and it saves loading time major

Unfortunately, that will only work in Internet Explorer.
