I've been trying out and uninstalling some browsers lately - mostly
Mozilla beta and previously full version. I still use IE 6.x and
Netscape 6.x. So I may have uninstalled or messed something up that
way.
I use windows XP home edition which is what Dell installed when I
bought this computer over a year ago. I used to be able to see
streaming videos with no trouble. I'm not sure which player did it as
there are several that get installed with browsers. But lately, if I
try to view a streaming video from sources I used to watch, it locks
up the browser and never views nor does it give an error message. Task
manager says it is running. And I can use task manager to end it and
go back to using my computer.
Any suggestions of what to do to restore the ability to view streaming
videos?
