streamci failed to load

When I upgraded from windows 98 to XP,the file called "streamci" would not
load,so it was skipped.Now my camera and speakers do not work.Please help me
fix this,I still have the XP disc,but i've already validated my
copy.......PLEASE HELPPPP

eload teh disc
