stream.sys not found when installing webcam

hello,

I have asked this already but no answers. I tried to install a webcam. I
have the original CD Rom software. However, when i install the software
(showing hte old XP looks) a Vista style window prompts me that the file
stream.sys is not found. I can see the file is already installed in the
drivers folder, why can't the system detect it? and if i save that file to
another folder, it still won't install it. It's driving me crazy.

I will try... i am a little afraid to tell you the truth. i can't tell you
how bad it is to have to deal with these issues. vista is not working that
well after all. i have had already various problems. xp was so good, i wonder
why i boght a machine with vista in it.
