Hi all
I dunno if this problem is related to software or hardware , but i'
kinda hopeless so i'll try anythin
My System Was Working All fine Then i Bought A new RAM Chip and it wa
DDR and my previous one Was SDRAM and they told me that i can't ru
both types at the same time so i took off the sdram and put in the dd
one , then when windows xp tries to open after the loading screen i
auto restart " power off and then on again "
when i run the windows in safe mode it works all fine , so i suppose
its not missfunction from the new Ram
i formated my drive and re-installed windows xp from a bootable CD an
i was using my New DDR Ram and everythin worked fine
now when i'v tried to install my Graphic Card Driver it tells me thi
driver ddin't pass the windows logo verify test , knowing that this i
the same driver i'v been using before i format my PC
if i continued installing my PC Restarts from itself , I installe
windows 2000 and the same happened but w/o the windows verify tes
thing
i installed the latest drivers but the same thing happens
i re-installed my windows , now it install the driver w/o the log
verifiy test thing but it restart anyway and doesn't install the drive

now the strange thing :D When i took off my DDR ram and put the ol
SDRAM LOL the Windows Works Fine with my graphic Card and install te
drivers perfectly , and when i put the DDR i un-install the drivers t
run my windwos normally again
My Graphic Card is MSI Geforce FX 5200
Intel Celeron 2ghz , the New DDR is 256mb The Old SDRAM is 128 MB
please if any1 got any clue of anythin i can do i'll be ver
thanksfull
Alot OF thanks in advanc

It would help if we knew the model of motherboard you have.

Try looking into your bios and seeing if you have to choose between sdram or
ddr ram. I would think you may have to select which to use, maybe not but it
is worth a look.

It certainly sounds like the DDR isn't compatible with your system. Are you
sure it's the correct type -- speed, size, etc? If you system has slots for
both SDRAM and DDR, chances are it's an older motherboard that was made when
DDR was just coming out and may not be compatible with the ram that's most
common today. If you didn't specify exactly what you needed and you got
whatever they had available, that's the problem.

And it's not a strange problem at all. Putting incompatible ram into a
computer is a pretty sure way to mess things up.

make this ?

There's Somethin also i wanted to check , i've noticed that my keyboard
lights go on from itself from time to time and mayb for one second and
then off again and in this second the mouse don't response
and also sometimes the mouse goes damn crazy and around the screen in a
crazy way and keep displayin the right click menu for alot of things and
keep goin around in a crazy way in a very high speed and it don't stop
except when i cltr + shift + del to open the task manager
