recently, when I visit some websites, those sites are the ones I visited
most frequently, two capital letters, A and D, appear on screen and then
spread to entire screen. this only happens in IE not other browsers. I have
Norton Anti-Virus installed on my computer with most updated virus
definitions, but didn't find any virus. any one has any idea what happened
to my IE browser? thanks for your help.

Download, install, update and run all four of the following.

CWS Shredder http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
AdAware www.lavasoft.de
Spybot S&D www.security.kolla.de
SpywareBlaster www.javacoolsoftware.com

Do NOT use these links. All three are poor imitations of legitimate software
tools.

Also stay away from SpyHunter. It's trick-ware and it's also rather
invasive to the systemcompared to other tools. Claims to be "free", will
allow you to scan and detect all sorts of things but will not let you
remove any threats without paying for a license and never tells you that
untill AFTER you scan.

Sorry, I now see that SpyHunter is the same as Spyware Hunter.

I've lost track of many of the AdAware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and
SpywareBlaster clones. Spyware Nuker is another to stay away from.

If a person wants to download any of the good, free tools, I suggest only
using original sites or links from the original site.
I'm surprised MD5 checksums aren't published, to avoid any potential
tampering or substitutions.
