I have a large, elaborate database and have replicas going
to six laptops and 4 pc's. One of the laptops has a
problem. I'm being told it's the program, but I believe
it's the computer itself. Anyway, the replica on this one
laptop has 4 forms that are not updatable - you cannot put
data in. It doesn't matter who signs on that particular
computer the forms will not allow data input. However,
all of the forms on the other replicas on other computers
allow data input no matter who is signed on.

Any thoughts? I've got a nurse breathing down my neck
about this - geez, I'm just the secretary, not a computer
whiz!

Check the properties of the database, make sure it is not set to read only.
Also check the permissions.

did that - no help. Our IS department looked into it and
they are stumped too!
