Strange problem - probably simple fix.

I created a quote template for mulitple users to use. I
have certain cells that are listed as Percentages. Now,
when I enter a number, say "8" the cell then
displays "8%", simple enough. I have one user, who was
just give a new computer, uses the template and when she
enters "8", the cell displays "800%", the only way to
correctly display 8% is to type in .08. It's trivial, but
this user doesn't want the hassel of the extra key
strokes. The quote template is read only and can't be
changed there for the cell format is locked. I don't know
if this is a simple setting change on the users computer.

Try Tools / Options / Edit tab and have a look at Enable automatic percent
entry
