Strange noise

Every time I turn on my computer a strange and high noise
is produce. Also I havee notice the when I go
the "accessories" and try to use the note or word pads.
Therefore I can not make letters. Can you help me on
this, please?

Windows has a feature that when the hard drive is about to crash you will hear music as some call it, others call it a noise
coming from the tower or computer itself, this could be happening to you. If you have problems with programs at the
same time this is happening you had better consider that your hard drive is failing, you may want to get your data backed
up on rescue disks or transfer to another computer before complete failure. It is hard to say what it is without hearing it,
does it stay on all the time or only certain times etc etc??
