Strange new security zone

Under Internet Options-Security-"Select a Web content zone to specify its
security settings" there is a strange new security zone named "Your
Computer." It will not let me configure it or delete it. I am afraid it is a
backdoor or virus or something not good. I have cleaned my machine of any
viruses with SysClean, AntiVir, Ewido, Ad-Aware, Spybot and Process Explorer.
Nothing is working. What is it and what can I do about it?

Is it My Computer or Your Computer? My Computer is a Web Content Zone that
exists but is hidden by default and unless you specifically took steps to
show it that would be a reason for concern particularly if it included
website entries that look questionable.

It is "Your Computer" and it is on the end past "Internet, Local intranet,
Trusted sites, Restricted sites" and then "Your computer." I would send you a
snapshot but I don't know where to post it.

To me that would indicate that your computer has been compromised by malware
or spyware. I am not sure the best way to resolve that specific issue but
suggest you also post in the internetexplorer.security newsgroup to see if
anyone there has seen such and how to resolve it short of reinstalling the
operating system. If you have found a lot of malware on your computer that
would be the best thing to do in my opinion. The link below should be
helpful in how to do take necessary steps in securing your computer and
dealing with malware and viruses. Before any clean install you want to take
steps to minimize future problems.

Thanks, I will try that. I am really freaking. At least if you don't know,
you say you don't know and tell me where else to go. Thank you very much!

In case you hear of this again, I found the solution at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;833633#where. I went
to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Zones and deleted Zone 5. There was not suppose to be a Zone 5 so I
deleted it and it fixed the problem. I don't know if it will come back or not
but it is gone for now. You might want to spread the news - there is new
malware in town. I don't think it has a name. I think I am the one who found
it.

I am aware of all that but I have never heard of it called "Your Computer"
Web Content Zone as I have always seen it as "My Computer".
