Strange Network Problem

i have a network set up using windows xp. there are 9
computers on the network and all but 1 works fine. the
strange part is that it used to work. this problem is
with file sharing and print sharing. i can't ping to the
computer but i can ping from the computer. i have a vpn
running for broadband connection and it works, just can't
see the computer or access it

anyone have any ideas

make sure no firewall running on the LAN.
