Strange IE behavior?

Running IE 6 on XP Pro. Browser opens fine, I can enter urls and goto pages
fine, but searching and some links don't work at all. In Goggle for
instance, I type in search string, hit enter, or click Goggle Search and
nothing happens. Have tried CWShedder and reset all IE options back to
default.

Please help!!!

To protect agains an other attack, be sure to install hotfix 828750 which
fixes the exploit that this virus uses.
