Strange folder

I have a folder off the root directory that has a long name starting
7ed06f261e ... Under it is I386 and I386 has some files and folders
under it. I have another I386 folder off the root directory. Do I
need this folder (the 7ed06 ...)?
 
Hi,

No, it is a leftover from a service pack installation. Normally, this setup
folder is deleted as part of the final steps.

Did you upgrade to SP2 with a CD or the full installer from microsofts
site, if memory serves, the Upgrade proccess makes that folder to
extract all the files to.
