Greetings all,

I am currently experiencing a very strange symptom
with one of my user's and the Outlook application. (MS
OUTLOOK 2000) Intermittently, the user composes a new
message, replies to a message, or forwards a message and
is not able to type, or even gain access, into the body of
the new message. The window will simply not allow a click
into the body or a tab from one of the receipient fields,
I.E. CC/BCC/etc., and the only way to address the issue is
by closing down the window and redoing it all over again.
I have the latest SR on this user's Office suite and have
even gone as far as re-imaging the machine. The user uses
MS-Word to edit the emails. Any hints as to what could be
the cause of this rather strange, and definately annoying,
behavior is greatly appreciated.

Try taking word off as the email editor. Just uncheck
the boxes on the mail format tab under Outlook options
that make word the editor. We had similiar problems and
this fixed them for us.
