Strange beeps

This really isn't a problem, but something strange that happens very rarely.
I can't remember what I do to replicate this, but on occasions, a program
with load, or this last time during boot up, the "computer speaker" inside
of the computer will start randomly beeping, it goes something like beep,
beeeep bep beep. As mentioned, this happened last time after a reboot from
a system restore operation. After a couple reboots it stopped. I haven't
had any problems that would cause this malfunction, and I do a real good job
of scanning for viruses and spyware. I forgot to mention, even after
Windows would boot, the beeps would continue, it was almost like if you held
one of the wires to the speaker and touched the lead, kind of a crackling
noise. I really don't need an answer to this problem, just thought I'd
share and I'm curious if anyone has heard of this before?

The beeps you hear on boot up are part of the POST or Power On Self Test
routine the system goes through when it starts to load all the drivers and
system files needed to make your computer work. If you do a Google search
for "beep codes" you can find out what they mean. You need to know what
your BIOS version and maker are. There are several and they are all
different.

Thanks, I know exactly what you're talking about, but these are beeps that
take place while windows is loading, for example, while at the log in
screen, it will just randomly beep. I was amazed I could make it beep just
by moving the mouse! That's what makes all this strange.
