Storing Quantity on Hand

Need example of Dynamic update query. in the After insert
Which field in placed in the critier.
I have a field called Inventory in my master list form.
In my lineitem form I have a field call Reorder# and qty.
I want to be able to subtrack qty per item from the inventory.
