stops responding

I'm having a problem when I copy and paste in excel 2007. Every time I copy
the program stops responding for 20 to 30 seconds before completeing the
task. I only have this problem in Excel. I tried all my other programs
(including Word) and they copy fine. ANyone else have this problem before? I
tested my Memory and it is good so it isn't a Ram problem.

Why don't you try setting the calc mode to manual? That seems to help
appreciably, in any version I believe. Set it back to auto mode thereafter
