Stopping Spell Check

Changing to setting on the spell check helped my problem about getting my
spelling checked, but now every time I send an email, spell check pops up and
if I cancel it out, it says, "Spell check has been halted, do you want to
send it anyway" or words to that effect. My question is how do I stop spell
check from appearing at every email and appear only when I need it to. It
popping up with every email is a bit bothersom. Thank you.......

I also run spell check automatically, but it stays out of the way and
doesn't pop up unless there is an error. Not sure why you'd want to send
some of your emails with spelling errors, but you can turn off the
automatic part of it: Tools, Options, Spelling, uncheck the first box.

i am not given a box to uncheck. if i click tools, thereis no option, so if i
click spelling, it just does a spell check. i still cant switch it off.

You looked for Tools in the WRONG window. Not the one AFTER you clicked
Create Mail to write e-mail.
The window you should be on is the one when you click open Windows Mail to
find out if you have mail.

Click on "Tools" in the main program window, not in a compose message
window...
