Stopping Sound and Launch New Presentation Using a Button or Hyperlink

Hi there

I have a 25 slide powerpoint show that runs for 25 slides and remains on the
25th slide continually playing a background track, so far perfect!

What I am trying to achieve is to place a button on the last slide (done
that) hyperlink to another presentation (done that) however the background
track continues to play, so I guess what I am asking is to make the button
on click close the self running 25 slide show and launch the new presentaton

Any help, links or pointer gratefully received.

On your Action Settings for your button, in addition to the link to the new
presentation, check Play Sound and choose Stop Previous Sound.

Thanks for your response, I have tried what you suggested but it doesn't
work for me, maybe I am missing something?
