Using XP Home, Mozilla 1.7.5. I would like a way to turn animation off

Some of the jumping and flashing animations are causing me to have
dizzy spells.

Don't know about Mozilla, but using Opera this can be done very easily by
turning plugins on and off. Using the F12 fast meny this operation takes two
clicks. You can also dis/en-able sounds, GIF animations, java and javascript
just as easy.

Thanks for an answer, or where to go for an answer.

Are you saying click F12 2 times?

No. I am saying click F12 to bring up the menu and then use the mouse or the
keyboard chortcut to select the feature you wish to turn on/off. In UI
terminology that makes a total of 2 clicks.

F12 doesn't bring up a menu on my system.
