I have forgotten how to stop Windows from automaticly installing a driver at
reboot, so I can pick a different one.

Thanks All,

Micheal

You can't, and don't need to. The driver Windows installs will be replaced
by whatever driver you want to install.

If you were to, theoretically, prevent Windows from installing its drivers,
that would in many cases crash your computer.

Ted,

It may be a reg tweak, but yes you can and I have just been a few years.

There are occasions when a driver is installed and windows does not like the
new one and revert to the Windows driver on reboot. To avoid this there is
something (i can not remeber what) you can do so windows allows you to pick
the driver on reboot.

Help anyone?
