Stop the Fractions!

I don't want 1/2 to automatically change into a pre-formatted fraction. I
have gone into the AutoFormat As You Type tab, and deselected the 'Fractions
(1/2) with fraction character' and click OK, and it still automatically
changes it to the fraction character.

This works fine on my computer, but it is my friends that this consistently
happens on, I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

FWIW, it is also under the "AutoFormat" TAB as well.

Your friend will have to make the same change in her setup.

Actually, I have made those changes on her computer and the small formatted
fraction still comes up. We checked and double checked that the check mark
in the 'Fractions (1/2) with fraction character' was deselected.

I also checked under the AutoCorrect tab too to make sure there was nothing
in there...and there wasn't. I just can't figure out why it would work on
one system and not another.

Any other places I can check?
