Stop powerpoint from changing fontsize when I add/delete text?

Powerpoint keeps changing the fontsize when I add or delete text on a slide.
I would like this to stop, as I want to choose my fontsize manually, and just
have the text "overflow" over the page if it does not fit (so I will shorten
the text, but dont want to change the fontsize). Any advice? Thanks, Andrea

Go to Tools - AutoCorrection options - tab AutoFormat as You type, remove
the check next to the options in the
middle of the dialogue, and while you are there consider the other automatic
features and turn them off if you don't need them.
