Hello
Is there a way that I can stop ie from blocking the download of a
specific file type.
I frequently download a specific file type and I have to click on the
toolbar to allow it's download each time.
Can I stop this?
Thanks

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

This a feature for the Pop-Up blocker try to set to low if you wish or try
to changes you settings on the IE security Tab as follow:
a- Click Start >> Double click Control Panel.
b- In the Control panel Double click Networking and Internet Connections.
c- On the Networking and Internet Connections Double click Internet
Options.
d- On the IE Properties window click on Security Tab, while IE Glob is
highlighted click on Custom Level.
On the Secuirty Settings scroll down till this Option:
[&] Downloads
[*] Automatic Prompting for file downloads
( ) Disable
(*) Enable check this Radio Button

Click [OK] To confirm your changes.
The downside for this that any website can download files without you
knowing so if don't have a third party firewall that can waren you of a
malicious activities.
HTH.
Please let us know if that was helpful to you.
