stop error

I am loading w2k pro. I boot from a cd, set and format
partition, copy files. when I go to reboot I get to the
windows splash screen and then I blue screen with error
0x0000007B inaccessable_boot_device. Anyone tell me what
this means and why I am getting it? I have installed
other OS's on this machine.
