Stop error/registry error?

My first problem was that I downloaded Iomega software for
my Zip drive.. I then began getting the following: "stop:
0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xF1D18299, 0x00000000,
0x000000A8) kmode_exception_not_handled" I contacted
Iomega and they said I needed to contact my manufacturer I
was unable to boot in safe mode. I tried to recover
with "last know good" , insert win2k cd and tried "repair
console" so then I went through the first phase of install
of win2k. Now when I try to boot I get the following: "the
system can not logon due to the following error: The
specified domain either does not exist or could not be
contacted." It will not accept a password at this point.
How can I get out of this mess? Thanks

It is not clear to me what has transpired, but the error sounds as
though you are running a new installation that has no knowledge of an
account created in an earlier OS installation.
