Stop Error - Blue screen

G

Guest

My machine was working perfectly then I got this message on a Blue screen:
-- Stop: 0x0000001E (0xc0000005, 0xBFE5B78A, 0x00000000, 0x00000004)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
(addressess....) then -NDIS.sys
Followed by some hints, which are not helpful. I have no idea what to do or
where to go. I tried to re-install my LEGAL copy of 2000, but still got the
screen. Thanks, in advance for all your help. EK

What were you working on at the time? Had you installed any new hardware
shortly beforehand? Do you have a network card or modem installed?
