I am installing XP Home in IBM Netvista 8305, I missed the
restore CD. While running the setup i am geting stop orror
(" OXOOOOOOO1, OX81333708, OX00000000, OX00000000") the
bios in this system is not fully ACPI complient. contact
system administrator etc.. could you please help me. I
installed windows 98 in this system without any problem.

CAUSE: This behavior can occur if Windows has detected that the BIOS in the
computer is not fully Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI)
compliant.
RESOLoTION: Manually install the Standard PC hardware abstraction layer
(HAL):
1.. Reboot the computer to restart Setup.
2.. When Setup starts again, press F7 when you see the "Press F6 if you
need to install a third-party SCSI or RAID driver" screen.
Windows automatically disables the installation of the ACPI HAL and installs
the Standard PC HAL. You should also contact the manufacturer of your
computer to obtain a BIOS that is fully ACPI compliant
