When machine idle for extended periods, or occassionally at start up, ...
Lose IE connection...
what's going on? How do I resolve this??

Also get...AMLI:ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port...
 
Try Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes and hit Enter.
