Hello,
My wife has a HP Pavilion ZT3349CL notebook PC, which runs WinXP Home
SP3. She has recently been getting STOP 7F errors on her system. We
did a MEMTEST+ analysis on the system and did not find any errors. We
then thought it might have to do with the wireless network. We booted
to safe mode and never received any errors, but as soon as normal boot
was brought into the mix or safe mode with networking, the STOP 7F
errors appeared. Sometimes the machine when booted will freeze up at
the Welcome screen. There is Trend Micro AV running on the system, so
I'm not sure if a virus is suspect here. The STOP error is 7F and
has the parameters (0,0,0,0) indicating a divide by zero error.
What are some other things to check?
Thanks
MIke
