Stop 0x000000B8 Error

When I insert a cd into one of my drives I get a blue screen saying Stop
0x000000B8 Error, A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted
from a DPC routine.

I have searched google and tried Microsoft's website but this stop error
refers to windows 2000, the fix for this also refers to windows 2000 which
does not apply to windows xp.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hate to burst your bubble, but WinXP is basically Win2000 with all the
service packs and a different GUI interface. Switch the WinXP interface
from "standard" to classic, and they are almost identical.

Have you tried the Win2000 solution in your system?
