Stop 0x0000007F Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap

I have received the Stop 0x0000007F error on my Windows
2000 Professional SP4 laptop 2 or 3 times in the last few
weeks. KB article 827188 indicates this to be a known
problem with Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server.
Could this also occur on Windows 2000 Pro?

Have you added any hardware lately? Maybe new RAM?
