Stop 0x00000024

A friend got the BSOD indicating the 0x24 error and I'm
trying to help him. I have looked on the MS site and the
aumha.org site for what to do about this error. The
problem is that he can't get off the blue screen. Tried
starting in safe mode, last known good config etc. It
just won't go anywhere else. I know what to do once I
can get in but how do I get there? Can I create a set of
boot disks for him to try? He also tried starting with
the WinXP cd with no luck. Any suggestions?
